Already this year, we’ve seen how Israel, its lobby, and US Republicans on their payroll, have constantly obsessed over Iran’s supposed ‘nuclear program’. They’ve also actively undermined international P5+1 accords with Iran ever since negotiations began in 2014. But who is the real nuclear threat in the region?
Despite the severe lack of any evidence, the Israeli-led axis insists that Iran either has, or is building a nuclear weapons program, which will one day be used to “wipe Israel off the map”. That’s the narrative they’re selling at the moment. Not surprisingly, there’s hardly a mention of Israel’s own secret, 200 strong nuclear weapons arsenal.
“Israel has been stealing nuclear secrets and covertly making bombs since the 1950s. And, western governments, including Britain and the US, turn a blind eye. But how can we expect Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions if the Israelis won’t come clean?”, revealed the Guardian in 2014.
Israeli whistleblower Mordechai Vanunu revealed in the 1980’s that Israel’s Dimona reactor produced 40 kilograms of plutonium a year.
This year saw Washington’s first official admission of Tel Aviv’s big dirty (and dangerous) secret:
“After five decades of pretending otherwise, the Pentagon has reluctantly confirmed that Israel does indeed possess nuclear bombs, as well as awesome weapons technology similar to America’s.”
“Early last month the Department of Defense released a secret report done in 1987 by the Pentagon-funded Institute for Defense Analysis that essentially confirms the existence of Israel’s nukes. DOD was responding to a Freedom of Information lawsuit filed by Grant Smith, an investigative reporter and author who heads the Institute for Research: Middle East Policy. Smith said he thinks this is the first time the US government has ever provided official recognition of the long-standing reality.” (The Nation)
Now Iran has decided to turn the tables on what was previously a one-sided conversation…
